The role requires current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and at least two years of related patient care experience. We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Primary Care department. In accordance with established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of the Northern Health and reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Lead, Primary and Long-Term Care, this position provides clinical pharmacy services to patients of the primary care network. As a member of an interprofessional team this position works directly with patients to identify and resolve actual and potential drug therapy problems through provision of comprehensive medication management. Coast Mountain Primary Care Network area includes Terrace, Nisga'a, Stewart and Tahltan/Stikine. Primary Care Networks are partnerships between the Divisions of Family Practice representing BC's family physicians, the regional health authorities, the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and local community partners, along with other community providers such as nurse practitioners. All partners are working together in their local communities and collectively to redesign B.C.'s primary and community care system so that it works better for patients and health-care providers.
Days – 08:30 to 16:30, Rotating. Flexibility to adjust workdays and hours upon applicant's request, provided it aligns with clients needs, operational requirements and maintains the posted Full-Time Equivalent (FTE).
