Reporting to the Manager, Risk and Quality-Biomedical Engineering, the Clinical Engineer works within the context of the Biomedical Engineering department’s directional plans, strategic imperatives and service agreements. Assists the Manager in providing technical support and direction to a team of Biomedical Engineers in the delivery of a broad range of regional activities including planning, strategies, standardization, implementation and delivery of safe, economical and efficient biomedical engineering (BME) services for Northern Health, to support excellence in patient/client/resident care. Assists with major projects, budget planning, strategic planning, resource planning and utilization, capital acquisition planning, standards and regulatory requirements, risk management, incident investigation, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
