A non-profit financial support organization in Canada seeks a Client Care Specialist to assist clients with financial inquiries. Candidates must be bilingual in English and French, with strong customer service skills. This full-time role offers a supportive work environment, primarily remote with some in-person meetings. The Client Care Specialist is the Credit Counselling Society's (CCS) first point of contact for clients who call in seeking help with their finances. Bilingual fluency in English and French is required; fluency in other languages is an asset. This position is based in Ontario and follows an Eastern Time Zone schedule.
This role is an ambassador for the organization, building trust with clients and offering an empathetic and calming presence during challenging circumstances. You will use active listening skills to ensure you provide the appropriate resources and supports for each client.
You will use your judgment to determine how to best help the client, easing concerns and connecting them with a Credit Counsellor when appropriate, or other resources where applicable. Regardless of background, you will receive training and support to help clients with their initial questions regarding their financial situation. The role also includes handling online inquiries, reaching out to clients who have asked us to contact them, and completing administrative tasks to support the client journey with CCS.
The starting salary range for this role is $39,156 - $46,150, which may fluctuate based on geography and prior education and experience.
In addition, CCS offers an annual salary review process each January, with regular increases subject to meeting established performance objectives.
