Responsibilities
  • General Cleaning
    • Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops
    • Knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
    • Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in ready
    • Dust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debris
    • General knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
    • Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkways
    • Repair of minor maintenance items (i.e. light fixtures, vents, filters, plumbing fixtures
    • Monitor and clean garbage chutes, garbage bins and recycling rooms
    • Collection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste schedule
    • Removal of garbage items and malfunctioning appliances
  • Customer Service
    • Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner
    • Promote a welcoming atmosphere
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude
    • Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours
    • Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Handle office administrative tasks, such as processing online applications, creating notices, managing lease renewals, and other duties related to support daily operations
    • Organize, promote and execute resident events (i.e. holiday parties & summer barbeques)
  • Qualifications
    • Professional cleaning experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proven track record of performing general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs. (e.g. garbage bins, appliances)
    • Ability to interact professionally with residents, team members, and contractors
    • Fluent in English and French (applicable to Quebec only)
