Claims Adjuster – Casualty & Litigation

Join a dynamic claims team that combines sharp attention to detail with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves handling a diverse portfolio of claims across multiple lines, including Auto, Commercial General Liability, Directors’ & Officers’, and Professional Liability.

You’ll be responsible for conducting prompt investigations, assessing coverage, determining liability and damages, and working closely with third parties and legal counsel to bring files to resolution.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing intermediate to complex claims, including litigated files
  • Confirming coverage and completing liability investigations
  • Preparing concise file summaries for reporting, large loss reviews, and reinsurance purposes
  • Maintaining an organized and efficient day-to-day workload
  • Delivering a top-tier customer experience throughout the claims process
What we’re looking for
  • Post-secondary education in insurance or a related field
  • CIP designation completed or in progress (asset)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience handling liability claims
  • Commercial lines experience (asset)
  • Strong technical skills, particularly with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills with claimants, brokers, and legal counsel
