The Role
The COO oversees the administration of the Faculty’s operations, including communications, finance, governance, human resources, policy, IT, facilities, and space planning. The role involves managing these functions within the Dean’s Office and collaborating with other administrative units.
The COO also provides leadership in strategic planning, change management, policy development, stakeholder engagement (including university administration, government, and community), and project coordination. A key aspect of the role is strengthening relationships with Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick and the Cape Breton Medical Campus to promote integrated operational and policy planning.
