Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our Canadian operations. This role will focus on managing the operational finance team in Canada, ensuring financial health and operational efficiency. The CFO will collaborate closely with the Americas finance team for support in areas such as internal controls, tax, and treasury, which are not part of this role\'s responsibilities.

Preferred location is Toronto, but candidates throughout Canada will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Canadian finance and accounting team.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s business objectives in Canada.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, with a focus on P&L, balance sheet, and cash management.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize financial processes and drive cost efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian financial regulations and standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Canadian financial regulations and standards.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
