Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Previous nursing experience in a school or community health setting preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of public health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and assessments for students and campers.
• Provide care and guidance for students experiencing various health issues.
• Liaise with the Director of Health Services and School Physician.
• Create medical information lists and maintain first aid kits.

Skills

Strong background in providing emotional support and mental health care

Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices and privacy laws

Flexibility for on-call rotations

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) with CNO membership
