Qualifications

  • Current certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS.
  • Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.

About the Job

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
  • Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
  • Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
