Overview

Hybrid: 2 days in-office (will increase to 4 days in future). Anchor days: Mondays and Wednesdays. Contract Duration: ASAP to 02/27/2026. Conversion to FTE: yes, based on performance and business needs. Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week.

Project

BoC Securities, Regulatory Project. This is a new regulatory initiative introduced for H4 Security Holding, where the Bank of Canada (BoC) is requesting a new Returns report. Reason: Additional support with developing and building the reports from the scratch.

Must have skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as Java Developer
• 4-5 years of experience with Spring
• Previous recent experience with building and generating financial / regulatory reports.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker
• 3+ years of experience with Jenkins
• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL

Nice to have

• Previous experience working with TOP 5 Banks/FI
• Previous exp with collateral and securities related projects is nice to have
• 2+ years of exp with Python
• 2+ years of exp with Shell scripting
• 3+ years of experience Unix

Soft Skills Required

Excellent written and verbal skills required to prepare communications and interact effectively with internal and external parties
