This is a hybrid role in Toronto

The Campaign Management Analyst will have experience working with marketing databases and building and automating complex direct marketing campaigns that drive the business forward. Working with Leads Management, responsibilities include implementing campaign data requirements developed by internal business partners, developing technical specifications, producing and quality-testing campaign data files, identifying and remediating issues along the campaign workflow, and managing relationships with stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage several campaign projects simultaneously. It is essential to have strong communication and project management skills. The Senior Analyst will develop a deep understanding of the campaign management tool and the content of the data warehouse. The right candidate must enjoy and excel at problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

What you will be doing

Develop and execute direct to consumer campaigns:

  • Review and analyze campaign business requirements and produce Technical Implementation Plans
  • Prepare customer lists with campaign management toolset to meet the requirements of documented technical requirements
  • Build potentially recurring campaigns with automation in mind and automate campaigns as required
  • Identify issues and make recommendations for campaign improvement
  • Manage project timelines and key deliverable dates
  • Establish a two-way working relationship with internal partners and proactively communicate project status updates to Campaign Production Manager, Leads Manager, Measurement Analysts and Product & Marketing business partners
  • Conduct campaign technical audits and review data output to ensure accuracy
Process management
  • Support the lead generation cycle by monitoring file execution processes and ensure final output meets regulatory requirements, is complete and available for execution by internal systems and external vendors
  • Ensure campaign requirements have documented business partner approval prior to file development and execution.
  • Make recommendations to streamline, enhance and improve overall operations
  • Engage in knowledge transfer with other Campaign Analysts to ensure projects are transferable
  • Trouble shoot critical issues, as required, to ensure the lead generation cycle remains on track and provide required support to Campaign Managers
  • Contribute to campaign definition documentation and template library to support standardization of customer data extracts
  • Act as a project leader for small to medium sized projects
What we are looking for

Knowledge:

  • Minimum 3 years of campaign or database marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management, campaign design and development
  • Solid and proven background in business process improvement
  • Experience in data analytics, developing and executing direct marketing campaigns, analyzing marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Knowledge of financial services industry preferred

Skills:

  • High level of proficiency in SAS, SQL, Unica Campaign or equivalent
  • Can translate business strategies into technical requirements
  • In-depth analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, quickly shift between competing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Manage expectations and multiple complex projects simultaneously

Salary:

$56,000.00 - $103,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
