Job summary

A community-focused organization in Kingston Parish is seeking a Camp Coordinator to manage daily operations and enhance camper experiences at Camp Glenburn. This role involves administrative tasks, social media management, and ensuring a safe environment for campers. Ideal candidates will have relevant educational qualifications, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for youth programs. A commitment to living on-site from May to September is required.

Qualifications

• Ongoing or completed Bachelor's Degree, Community College diploma or similar from an accredited institution.
• Camp certifications: Ropes Course, NLS, Waterfront, Canoe/Kayak, & Pleasure Craft Operator Card considered an asset.
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
• Valid Drivers License is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily office operations and respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate with marketing to oversee social media presence.
• Create and maintain staff duty schedules.
• Organize camper mail and oversee lost-and-found.
• Support counseling staff and uphold child protection practices.
