Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Buyer to support our Procurement team. This contract role requires a self-starter who can quickly adapt to internal processes and manage purchasing activities across a diverse range of categories, including but not limited to Professional Services, Software, Marketing, and Facilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in end-to-end procurement operations, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to pivot between categories and priorities as business needs evolve.
Roles and Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management
Process purchase requisitions and issue POs in Coupa in accordance with company policies.
Maintain accurate PO records and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Expedite, delay, or modify orders to meet evolving business needs.
Supplier Communication & Coordination
Engage with suppliers across various categories to confirm order status, manage lead times, and resolve delivery or invoicing issues.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers across a wide range of spend categories, adapting communication styles to suit different industries and vendor types.
Support supplier onboarding and catalog maintenance in coordination with Category Managers and Coupa Admin.
Escalate recurring supplier performance issues to appropriate stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, IT, HR, Finance) to clarify purchase requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Serve as a procurement point of contact for multiple departments, understanding unique category needs and translating them into effective purchasing strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvement.
Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
Reporting & Compliance
Generate procurement activity reports to support visibility, insights, and operational KPIs.
Maintain data accuracy in Coupa and enforce procurement controls and policies.
Support contract compliance through policy adherence and documentation tracking.

Experience & Qualifications
6–8 years of procurement experience with demonstrated success managing sourcing and purchasing across multiple indirect spend categories (e.g., Marketing, IT, Facilities, HR, Professional Services)
Experience managing POs and requisitions in Coupa or similar P2P platforms
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
Proven ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable interfacing with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Preferred Tools & Knowledge

Familiarity with CLM tools and digital contract repositories
Basic understanding of SOWs, commercial terms, and legal review processes
