A leading technology company is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst based in Ottawa. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Product Line Management (PLM) Business Operations team. This role blends operational excellence in Power BI development with forward-looking capabilities in AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
You will design, develop, and manage dashboards and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights into our business performance. Beyond traditional BI, you will help evolve our analytics approach by leveraging AI/ML methodologies to identify emerging trends, predict outcomes, and support strategic initiatives aimed at driving higher margins, revenue growth, and process efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, proficiency in BI tools, and a curiosity for applying AI/ML to business challenges. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams, ensuring alignment of data definitions, governance practices, and analytics strategies.
The annual pay range for this position is $101,300 - $161,900 CAD
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
