Overview:

Ainsworth Inc is currently searching for a highly skilled and accomplished Sales Professional, focused on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Automation System (BAS) preventative maintenance, service, and project sales, to join our growing team in Eastern Ontario. Along with experience in HVAC and BAS sales and service, the ideal candidate will possess a wealth of knowledge in mechanical systems and strategic multi-discipline, multi-trade pursuits. As a member of our Ottawa-based sales team, your primary focus will be on expanding our market presence by collaborating and securing new business with owners and contractors across Eastern Ontario. We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven individual who is committed to achieving growth targets and driving market share expansion. This role requires a high level of expertise in sales, including the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Expanding our Reach: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and building owners and operators to identify and close new business opportunities.
  2. Strategic Salesmanship: Develop compelling proposals that showcase the value proposition of our BAS solutions and confidently negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  3. Building Trust & Credibility: Become a trusted advisor by fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers. Actively listen to their needs, understand their unique challenges, and demonstrate your technical expertise to build lasting loyalty.
  4. Exceeding Expectations: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently surpass assigned sales objectives and contribute to significant market share growth.
  5. Profitable Growth: Optimize profit margins while securing sales orders throughout your designated territory.

Qualifications:

  • University or College-level technical degree or diploma
  • 5+ years with a proven successful sales record and a passion for growth.
  • Skilled in methods to build and maintain strong business relationships with customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, technical, and financial abilities.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Must possess strong communication skills in English - both written and oral.
