Broker Account Manager - Essex & Home Counties (Remote working)

Basic Salary £35K to £45K Plus Excellent Benefits

Exciting and new opportunity has arisen for a Regional Broker Account Manager (Based remotely) and to work with a broker panel with Essex and the Home Counties .

This is one of the most progressive and reputable MGA’s operating within the UK today, where their Head of Office is based in Yorkshire. They have consistently won many insurer awards with one of these being employer of the year.

You will be looking after an existing portfolio of insurance intermediaries focusing on retention and new business development.

It would be beneficial that you have previous commercial insurance experience from either a broking or insurer background, or both. You will be given flexibility and a lot of autonomy and it would ideally suit someone who has a proactive approach and is comfortable being in a sales environment working to sales targets set by management. In return, you will be provided with additional support from senior management, the Business Development Manager, and a strong team of underwriters to ensure you can maximise every possible opportunity to being successful in performing this role to its full potential.

Within the role you will be required to:-

  • Prospecting, including utilising and growing CRM pipeline
  • Planning and delivering agreed activity levels, ensuring CRM accurately reflects plannedand actual activity
  • Delivering a high quality sales process
  • Driving profitable new business growth
  • Driving performance and profitability of Broker panel
  • Meeting retention and new business targets
