Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience selling apparel brands to major retailers, specialty chains and independent stores across North America.
  • Already established working relationships with mass and mid-level retailers.
  • Excellent presentation, fluently bilingual.
  • Experience arranging, setting up and participating in trade shows.
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to evaluate and monitor sales.
  • Strong team leader, previous experience managing a small team.
  • Fluently bilingual, good computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate sales and customer service activities among team members.
  • Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team.
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement, make necessary changes.
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting, monitor competition's performance on the market.
  • Report on team and individual performance.
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients.
  • Participate in sales presentations to major retailers, travel to see customers, participate in trade shows and other sales-based organized events.

Overview

Our fashion client is looking for an experienced Brand /Sales Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the President of the company and the COO, this person will be responsible to lead and manage all sales and business development efforts for an assortment of branded womens and mens apparel, throughout Canada and the US.
