Job description

As a Boom Truck Driver, you will be part of the team that provides delivery services for our customers, displaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring truck maintenance and keeping driver’s records, such as daily checklists. This job can be physically demanding.

Qualifications
  1. Proven work experience as a Boom Truck Driver
  2. Valid driver’s license class 3 or 1
  3. Clean Drivers Abstract – reimbursement upon hire
  4. Hydraulic Experience
  5. Air Brakes Endorsement
  6. Ability to work in all weather conditions in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace
  7. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  8. Effective written and oral communication skills
  9. Able to operate standard transmission
  10. Safety mindset
  11. High attention to detail
  12. Able to perform physical work
Responsibilities
  1. Deliver materials to private homes and construction sites safely
  2. Assist in yard and store activities, helping customers
  3. Prepare trucks for loading and assist warehouse staff as required
  4. Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and safety
  5. Maintain contact with dispatch and resolve issues promptly
  6. Verify load security and accuracy
  7. Report defects, violations, accidents, or injuries
  8. Act professionally at all times
  9. Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
