Position: Production Manager

Location: Hamilton, ON (relocation to Brantford anticipated October/November 2025)

Summary

The Production Manager will oversee the production process, ensuring goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing staff, and optimizing production workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Optimize production procedures for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain partners
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
  • Utilize MRP systems for effective planning and control
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical knowledge
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and MRP systems
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to assemble and fabricate production systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field preferred

Salary: $50,121.38 - $65,000 per year
