The Opportunity :

We’re looking for a Bilingual Trade Services Administrator to join our Trade Services team.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Trade Services, the Bilingual Trade Services Administrator is responsible for processing and settling mutual fund trades and GICs, completing trade corrections, adhering to regulatory and internal standards to meet deadlines, and using judgment to resolve issues in daily tasks.

What your day looks like :

  • Ensure daily settlement totals match the central depository.
  • Maintain settlement reports and coordinate fund transfers.
  • Monitor and correct trade rejections, communicate issues, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process GIC transactions including purchases, settlements, and maturities.
  • Handle Pool fund trades within SLAs.
  • Review and process adjustments and verify requests for accuracy.
  • Communicate with mutual fund companies and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

Your experience and skills :

  • Post-secondary education or relevant professional development is an asset.
  • At least 1 year of experience in operations within a financial services firm, preferably in transaction services.
  • Canadian Securities Course or IFIC Operations course completion is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is required.
  • Experience with Dataphile, Fundserv, and Capital Markets is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Salary
