Bilingual Data Entry Clerk (Claims Processing) – Remote

Responsibilities
- Review incoming STD claim applications against established criteria.
- Identify and follow up on outstanding information required for claims processing.
- Apply contractual provisions to set up STD claims using web-based systems.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with internal partners to meet service deliverables.
- Prioritize and re-prioritize conflicting demands under tight turnaround times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to plan members, sponsors, and health providers.
- Draft written communications including formal letters and professional emails.
- Manage repetitive administrative tasks with high attention to detail.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data entry and claim processing.
- Handle inbound and outbound communications over phone and email with professionalism.
What you will need to succeed
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- 1+ year of customer service or data entry experience.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Impeccable time management and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail, particularly with numbers, spelling, and grammar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a structured work environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong service relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible and able to manage high workload volumes with competing deadlines.
- Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages.
- Experience in disability insurance or related customer service is a plus.
