The Job

Our Bell team members are the resort's first and last impression made to our guests. A Bellperson is responsible for warmly greeting guests, handling luggage, assisting with check-in/out, providing directions and information on resort services & local attractions, maintaining lobby appearance, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming guest experience. Bell team members need to be an expert on the local area and generate excitement to our guests on what makes Osoyoos the destination of choice!

Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting & Assistance: Open doors, welcome guests, and offer help with luggage and belongings.
  • Luggage Handling: Transport, tag, store, and retrieve luggage carefully.
  • Room Escort & Orientation: Escort guests to rooms, explain features (A/C, TV, phone), and ensure everything works.
  • Information & Directions: Answer questions about the hotel, services, and local sights; make recommendations.
  • Lobby Maintenance: Keep the entrance, lobby, and baggage areas clean and presentable.
  • Transportation: monitor driveway and parking area to ensure vehicles comply with parking and idling rules, loading and unloading, assist with bus & shuttle parking, and help with guest transfers.
  • Communication: Coordinate with front desk and other departments, relay messages, and report issues.
