- Complete behavioral assessments and plan treatment strategies in conjunction with team members.
- Develop, implement and document individual client treatment plans.
- Coordinate and monitor service delivery and assist in the development and delivery of training sessions for clients, staff, and community partners.
- Develop and implement, in conjunction with treatment team members, evidence-based treatment plans responsive to client needs.
- Identify and coordinate provision of service and resources for clients, in collaboration with affiliate and community partners, advocating on client’s behalf to safeguard and ensure their entitlements and rights.
- Provide assessment and crisis intervention services.
- Participate in the development and delivery of educational and informational programs for clients, families, service providers, employees, and the public.
- Provide necessary activities of daily living support within the framework of the FACT model based on client need.
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies, and procedures of The Royal.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in Behavioral Science Technology is required.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge in the field of developmental disabilities, mental illness, and behavioral analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a professional multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Previous experience in a Dual Diagnosis setting is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a forensic setting is considered an asset.
- Experience in substance use and concurrent disorders is considered an asset.
- Experience in facilitation of group/individual counselling and experience in staff training/education is considered an asset.
- Experience working in community mental health is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of consultation model.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Valid class G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- English level A- in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading, and writing is mandatory. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
