2026 BEACHFRONT AMBASSADOR SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Town of Wasaga Beach is now accepting resumes for summer seasonal employment (May until September 2026) for the position of Beachfront Ambassador.

General Responsibilities:

The role of the Beachfront Ambassador is to be a representative for the Town of Wasaga Beach, providing information and assistance to visitors and residents at the Beachfront. Stationed at Beach Area 1, the Ambassador will be responsible for running the beachfront information booth during assigned days. This will include visitor assistance, handing out material such as guides and maps, and other duties as assigned. In addition, the Ambassador will also assist the Economic Development and Events team with various event set‑up and take‑down, and assist the Economic Development team with various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Town of Wasaga Beach and surrounding area, able to give directions, recommendations, provide resources and provide event information.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Wasaga Beach attractions, local businesses, and community services is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with light physical tasks, such as lifting and setting up equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, both internal and public-facing;
  • Ability and comfort working both independently and in various teams;
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including: day, evening, weekend and statutory holidays and assume a flexible work schedule;
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions;
  • Valid class G2 or above Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable abstract and criminal records check.
Hourly Range: $18.50-$20.01; 35 hours/week
