We are hiring two (2) experienced Automotive Service Technicians. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and manage work orders
  • Collaborate with advisors and technicians on vehicle diagnostics and repairs
  • Complete all work orders as assigned and report findings to the Service Manager/Advisor
  • Perform routine maintenance and vehicle inspections
  • Learn how to use new tools/equipment and continuously work to grow
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Provide colleagues with updates on vehicle repair and maintenance plans
  • Ensure proper documentation, work and communication between departments occurs
  • Assist in shop maintenance and lot support during downtime
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Red Seal preferred, will consider equivalent experience
  • Requires SGI certification
  • 3+ Years Experience in automotive repair and maintenance is required
  • Certification or diploma in Automotive Service Technology preferred but not required if SGI + Red Seal is achieved
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Requires a clear criminal background, driving license and clear driving abstract
  • Requires your own tool box. The shop does have specialized tools for a variety of jobs
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment (Hunter Level, Hoists, Etc) and tools effectively
  • OEM training is an asset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
