Associate Account Manager, Influencer Marketing & Social Media

The Influence Agency is a growing marketing agency that specializes in Influencer Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Strategy & Development, SEO, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, and much more!

We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and client-focused Associate Account Manager to join our team. At our agency, we call them Associate Client Success Managers (CSM) and they are responsible for account management, strategic input, client communications, execution, and reporting on a variety of creative campaigns.

This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency that is focused on challenging industry norms and developing programs that are best in class. Our Associate CSM will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide assortment of digital marketing campaigns for well-known brands, with a focus on owning Influencer Marketing, Social Media, PR, and Events Programs.

We’re working in a hybrid model. We’re looking for someone who is located in or around the GTA with the ability to travel to our West End location 3 days a week.

Abilities & Skills

  • Able to work closely across departments to execute programs with multiple monthly recurring services
  • Has a solid foundational understanding of Influencer Marketing, Social Media, Event Marketing, and PR Services best practices, with the ability to speak confidently about these areas with clients (with guidance when needed)
  • Experience supporting social media strategy, including planning, content calendars, content creation, and trend research to produce engaging, thumb-stopping content
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to staying on top of client communications, influencer campaign coordination, and service-driven project workflows
  • Comfortable working with data, metrics, analytics, and consumer behaviour trends to support insights and recommendations
  • Experience assisting with budget tracking and campaign execution across digital channels to support return on investment and efficient customer acquisition cost
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a connector between senior internal team members, clients and operations teams, striving to deliver a positive and thoughtful client experience
  • Baseline knowledge of SEM services (paid media, SEO, web development, CRO) is considered an asset and a willingness to learn is essential

Experience

  • 2–3 years of account/client coordination or management experience in the marketing or PR space
  • 1–2 years of experience coordinating and executing influencer marketing and/or social media campaigns
  • At least 1 year of sales experience in some capacity is an asset
  • Experience in a marketing agency is strongly preferred

Reporting & Client Management

  • Assist in creating standard monthly marketing reports across all areas of performance, highlighting wins and areas of optimization
  • Develop an understanding of key metrics and their benchmarks, with support from senior team members
  • Support the creation of presentation frameworks and contribute to presentations as needed
  • Help identify strategic recommendations through storytelling and service knowledge
  • Support upsell opportunities where beneficial to the client
  • Produce clear and professional client emails, building trust through transparency and responsiveness

Influencer Marketing

  • Source and recommend appropriate influencers for a wide variety of campaigns, ensuring alignment with campaign goals
  • Support the creation and coordination of influencer contracts and briefing documents
  • Manage day-to-day communication between influencers and clients to help campaigns run smoothly from start to finish

Internal Program Management (Social Media, Branded Content, Paid Social, UGC & Influencer Marketing)

  • Work collaboratively with team members across departments to support campaign execution and performance
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Participate in meetings, brainstorms, and discussions to help optimize campaigns and hit KPIs

New Client Setups

  • Support the implementation of digital media plans
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by learning their business, industry, and competitors
  • Help gather and review marketing plans, budgets, and goals
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support the setup, launch, and optimization of new digital marketing services

Progressive Compensation
  • Competitive base salary range: TIA reasonably expects to offer a base salary between $50,000-65,000 for this role. The actual offer is based on experience, skills, and role alignment.
