Job summary

A leading university philosophy department in Montreal is seeking candidates for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position in Epistemology. AOS Epistemology with interest in Applied Epistemology, Social Epistemology, Feminist Epistemology or Indigenous Epistemologies

  • Teaching (2/2) at undergraduate and graduate levels in French, including course development, improvement, and student assessment.
  • Supervising and evaluating graduate students in their research projects.
  • Conducting research and creative activities in the field and publishing results to advance and disseminate knowledge.
  • Providing service to the community, including but not limited to program development, consulting for government, industry, or individuals, and assuming administrative responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in French language: C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
