A municipal government in Oakville is looking for an Architectural Plans Examiner to conduct detailed reviews of building plans according to the Ontario Building Code. Candidates must have a post-secondary degree in Architecture and relevant qualifications, with at least 5 years of experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, and proficiency in Ontario building regulations is required. Occasional site visits will be part of the role and applicants must provide their own vehicle.

Reporting to the Supervisor- Application and Code Review, the Architectural Plans Examiner will:
Successful completion of a post-secondary 3 year diploma or degree in Architecture or related field combined with a minimum of 5 years relevant related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
