Qualifications

We are searching for an exceptionally talented Architectural Designer to join our growing team and help us deliver on our customer promise. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Design, this role will drive the creation of innovative design visions and briefs, informed by market research and buyer insights. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the Architectural Designer will :

What You’ll be Doing
  • Conduct market research on buyer preferences, competitors, and design trends to inform new residential models across various project types.
  • Lead design efforts from project inception to completion, developing conceptual building designs, including elevations, floor plans, site plans, and renderings for proposals and marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (land development, marketing, drafting, construction) and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions within quality, timeline, and budget constraints.
  • Perform site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents, identify deviations, and work with team members to resolve issues while staying updated on market design trends.
  • Plan, track, and schedule project timelines and milestones, assist the Interior Designer with special projects (model homes, decor centers, home staging), and ensure deadlines are met.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (experience within the new home building industry will be considered a strong asset).
  • Proficiency with Revit preferred.
  • Knowledge of Residential Construction and the Ontario Building Code required.
  • An ARIDO / NCIDQ accredited degree in or Architectural Design is preferred.
  • Ability to fit together artistic, functional and technical requirements.
