Job description

POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME

The Position

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the direction of the Site Superintendent. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operation of hand/power tools
  • Knowledge in concrete forming, rebar placing, and rebar tying
  • Ability to perform manual labour, project tasks as assigned, carry materials, tools, and equipment
  • Proper care and attention of company tools and equipment
  • Prepare work areas for subtrades
  • Physical endurance being able to lift 50lbs at a time
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills when working with sub trades and other team members
  • Good understanding of safety policies, safe work practices, and safe job procedures
  • Must be willing to work in variable climatic conditions
Qualifications & Skills
  • Certified Level 2, 3, or 4 Apprentice
  • Reliable, hardworking team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively
  • 3-5 years experience in the construction industry an asset
