Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements for layout.
  • Weld large and small components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipes.
  • Use specialized machines for industrial welding and monitor machines that perform similar work.
  • Maintain and repair all machines.
  • Evaluate surfaces, structures, and components to be welded to identify defects.
  • Follow and enforce strict safety rules such as wearing heat‑resistant gloves, protective masks, and protective shoes.
  • Monitor machinery for proper use and temperature. Solder flat, vertical, and overhead components.
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects.
  • Store the device in a condition that does not compromise safety.
  • Repair machines and other parts by welding parts and filling gaps.
  • Weld parts using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment in different positions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid welding certificate from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder.
  • Excellent knowledge of welding machines, electrical equipment, and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
