About Royal Inland Hospital (RIH): A 273‑bed tertiary referral centre serving approximately 250,000 people. RIH is the no‑refusal centre for the Thompson‑Cariboo Shuswap Health Service Area, receiving over 250 major traumas and 70,000 visits annually. The new Phil and Jennifer Gaglardi Tower opened in 2022 and includes a new operating room, surgical services suite, obstetric services, labour & delivery, respiratory therapy, mental health and substance use inpatient units, and a rooftop helipad. The hospital offers specialties such as Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Acute Inpatient Psychiatry, and a high‑acuity response team. Diagnostic services include MRI, CT, echocardiography, and a sleep lab.
Royal Inland Hospital is seeking multiple anaesthesiologists who will provide comprehensive anaesthesia care for surgeries including general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, obstetrics & gynecology, ENT, plastic, and urology, as well as manage multiple trauma cases for both pediatric and adult patients.
Type: Clinical Service Contract.
Estimated Remuneration: $545,000 – $598,000.
