Overview

Job Code: 3138BR — Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) in Canada (Calgary).

This position is based full-time in Calgary and requires regular travel in Canada and the US. The candidate will be required to obtain the US A&P Maintenance License.

North West Geomatics, part of Hexagon, provides high-quality aerial mapping and related spatial data services. We are a pioneer in developing techniques that maximize efficiency in LiDAR aerial image acquisition and photogrammetric tasks, and we maintain a continued focus on R&D.

We are seeking a full-time licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with a preference for AMEs who have worked on TPE331 turboprop or similar engines, and on Cessna 441 and/or Reims F-406 aircraft.

Main Duties
  • Manage digital maintenance platform (RAAS)
  • Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with applicable standards of airworthiness
  • Accurately complete maintenance paperwork and data entry
  • Track and plan maintenance under the guidance of the Director of Aircraft Maintenance
  • Travel to aircraft to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues as applicable
  • Manage inventory
