Production Supervisor Opening in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Job Must Haves

• 3 years of industrial production supervisor experience
• Experience working in a plant with machinery
• Experience working with chemicals
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer skill

Job Duties

• Overall responsibility of the production on their shift
• Works closely with Sales and Scheduling to ensure that the plant is satisfying sales orders while maximizing operational efficiency
• Responsible for the health and safety of assigned employees and for the management of WSIB claims
• Responsible for training of plant personnel as required
• Responsible for quality
• Responsible for cost containment in accordance with budget constraints
• Develops SOPs to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant and warehouse
• Makes recommendations on capital expenditures to advance the objectives of improving plant efficiency, reducing cost and improving H&S
• Responsible for creating labels, work tickets and specs for production using their internal computer system

Shift

• Afternoon shift: 3:30pm - 11:45pm
• Must train on the day shift for 1-2 months (7:00 am-3:30pm) before moving to afternoons

Pay

• $74,000 - $80,000 Yearly
