Job Description:

We're looking for an Advisory Services Manager, Distribution Center who will play a key role in shaping the future of HR operations at TJX Canada. In this role, you’ll provide strategic leadership on complex Associate and Labour Relations matters, ensuring consistent application of policies across multiple Distribution Centers. What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for the Torbram Distribution Center (Brampton) and support two additional Distribution Centers during the B shift.
  • Provide expert Associate and Labour Relations guidance to leaders, ensuring alignment with company policies, culture, and values.
  • Manage complex Advisory Services cases with timely, effective resolutions using sound HR principles and critical thinking.
  • Partner with legal counsel on employment and labour matters, exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Stay current on employment legislation, case law, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Participate in union‑management meetings, including grievances and negotiations, and maintain constructive relationships with union representatives.
  • Drive process improvements and recommend scalable solutions for efficiency and consistency.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide strategic insights and partner with HRBPs on proactive risk mitigation.
  • Ensure Advisory resources and tools are accurate and accessible on platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Contribute to special projects, system implementations, and HR program development.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Build strong partnerships with People Leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver consistent HR support.
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship management skills.
  • Lead performance management and career development initiatives to maximize team potential and support organizational growth.
  • Develop and execute a 6‑12‑month talent strategy to build a strong pipeline and functional capability within Advisory Services.
Compliance and Data Integrity
  • Uphold HR data integrity and confidentiality in line with federal and provincial regulations.
About You
  • 5+ years in Associate Relations, Labour/Industrial Relations, Law, or related field, with leadership or people management experience.
  • Post‑secondary education in HR, Labour Relations, or related discipline (asset).
  • Expert knowledge of Associate & Labour Relations, collective agreement administration, and employment legislation.
  • Advanced skills in facilitation, negotiation, problem‑solving, and dispute resolution with a solution‑focused approach.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship‑building abilities to influence and gain trust at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Experience in coaching, performance management, team development, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS and case management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work Tuesday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑7:00 PM and flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
