Job summary

A healthcare organization in New Brunswick is seeking a Supervisor responsible for planning and coordinating clerical support services in a clinical or administrative environment. The ideal candidate should have supervisory experience, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in office software. This position involves managing staff schedules, monitoring productivity, and supporting the hiring and training of new personnel.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation plus additional Office Administration program/course.
  • Two years of related experience including supervisory ability.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Developing staff work schedules and shift assignments.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring productivity and providing oversight and support.
  • Identifying and addressing day-to-day issues.
  • Gathering and analyzing data and preparing reports.
  • Assisting with the hiring and training new staff.
  • Performing support services as required.
  • Payroll duties and department finances as required.
  • Ensuring orientation and training new staff.
  • Participating in the performance appraisal and interview process as needed.
