We are an 8x Glassdoor Best Places to Work organization. This role supports accounting and payments-related functions within the company.
Responsibilities
- Process all transactions slated for eXpress Pay in a timely manner.
- Post A/P invoices promptly.
- Pay A/P invoices and process payments to agents and outside sources (including lawyers / OB).
- Prepare payment of monthly Revenue Share.
- Process all Excess prior to and at closing as directed.
- Prepare payments to licensed assistants charging back associated Agent.
- Assist A/P Team Lead with special projects and requests.
- Make adjustments to correct payments made in error.
- Prepare JE’s for account adjustments.
- Maintain correct banking information for outside sources.
- Maintain A/P spreadsheet and assist in required reconciliations.
- Assist Team Lead with HubSpot emails and ADHOC projects as required.
- Process all RODs (Return of Deposit) as directed by the Transaction Closing Team.
- Attend team meetings to stay up to date with policy and procedures.
- Other accountabilities as assigned.

How you will grab our attention
- High school diploma required or equivalent experience.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in Canadian Real Estate.
- 1-2 years experience in Accounts Payable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Broker Wolf experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Google Docs.
- Comfortable in a remote office environment with various communication technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible, fast-paced work style with strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Willing to work additional hours if required.
- Agile/flexible attitude; strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Remote work experience and dedicated home office space.
- Advanced Trello experience preferred.
- Aptitude for using online platforms and software to work remotely.
