Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our long established client, a dynamic and innovative firm of Chartered Accountants, to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Senior Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and provide key client contact when resolving any accounts queries. You may be looking to progress with your accounting qualifications (ACCA, CA or similar) although this is not essential.

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include :

  • Assist with accounts preparation for partnerships, sole traders and limited companies.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Corporation tax returns as required.
  • Assist with payroll.
  • Shadow senior members of the team with more complex tasks to broaden your exposure.
  • Attending clients premises as required.
  • Use of a variety of accounting packages including Xero and Sage.
