We are seeking an Accounting Student for our Canadian Industrial Division to work in our Edmonton, AB office. We are looking for students who are available for 4 or 8 months starting in January 2026. The positions will be under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Full Cycle Accounts Payable
  • Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Inter-company invoicing
  • Courier and phone costing
  • Running and updating various reports
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Visa card reconciliations
  • Preparing accounts receivable report
  • Weekly cheque printing
  • Client progress billings
  • Subcontract administration
  • Creation and management of Ad Hoc Reports
  • Miscellaneous support to Accounting team
Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Currently enrolled in an Accounting diploma/degree program.
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
