BOYNECLARKE is seeking a thoughtful and people-focused Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. In this newly created leadership role, you’ll manage a team of six accounting professionals and play a key role in optimizing operations, supporting financial reporting, and helping implement a new accounting system.

As a trusted partner to the Director of Finance, you’ll lead with empathy and accountability, fostering team performance, refining processes, and bringing structure and clarity to a high-paced environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines accounting knowledge with strong people leadership, and who’s ready to make a tangible impact on a well-established firm evolving for the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of six
  • Strengthen internal processes, workflows, and financial controls
  • Support internal reporting, audit prep, and policy alignment
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver clear and actionable financial insights
  • Contribute to the firm’s upcoming system implementation and process transformation

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Comfort managing diverse personalities with professionalism and empathy
  • CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset but not required
  • Legal or professional services experience is a bonus, not a must
