Position Overview

We require a full-time Income Auditor to cover a period of maternity leave. They will be responsible for the accurate reporting of all revenue for all Hotels and other Residential dwellings under the management of Basecamp Property Management Ltd.

Salary: $50,000 yearly

Shifts: Full-time, Fixed term till March 2027. End date may be flexible depending on the length required for a period of maternity cover.

Location: Calgary or Canmore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices to Expedia OTA as well as Agoda for hotel properties.
  • Responsible for responding to all chargebacks received from Credit card merchant providers.
  • Check daily/weekly for cash, gift certificates and funds transfers and make sure they are properly accounted for as well as keep excel spreadsheets up to date.
  • Assist with the set-up of each Point-of-Scale System for all new properties.
  • Assist with other items of new hotel set up as asked.
  • Support management and other internal staff members and departments.
  • Provide administration back up when needed and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure daily trial balances are loaded into Quickbooks Online
  • Reconcile the daily Room Revenue sales at each hotel
  • Assist in reconciling all hotel receivables: Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Debit transactions
  • Record and check cash payments from hotels/FIT/group payments
  • Prepare the monthly remittance forms for Tourism Canmore Kananaskis

Requirements

  • Be familiar with the WebrezPro property management software.
  • Be familiar with the Point-of- Sales systems at each hotel.
  • Knowledge of credit card processing systems (Shift4 and Moneris).
  • Be familiar with reservation OTAs; Expedia, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • A familiarity with Quickbooks Online is preferred, but not required.
  • Must hold strict confidentiality.
  • Work independently and possess good time management skills.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
