In this role, you will be the driving force behind the generation of new business sales and profits within a designated territory. Your commitment to an annual sales plan, along with the understanding of market conditions and product knowledge, will ensure that you meet and exceed sales goals. You will be pivotal in establishing strong relationships with customers and promoting our innovative products, contributing significantly to our partner's success in the healthcare sector.


Accountabilities
  • Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for region of responsibility.
  • Monitor and report on sales activity, market and competitor's situation.
  • Conduct personalized sales demonstrations to customers in the surgical ophthalmology market.
  • Educate and follow up with surgeons and staff on product operation and applications.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and accounts.
  • Develop and implement creative marketing approaches tailored to the region.
  • Assist in market introductions and launches of new products.
  • Utilize and maintain territory records to organize and measure results effectively.
  • Provide timely and constructive communications to management regarding sales activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and corporate partners for synergy opportunities.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist with processing of customer orders and delivery matters as needed.
  • Review pending service jobs with the service team and provide necessary support.
  • Adapt continuously to changes while adhering to company strategy and training.
  • Uphold compliance with applicable processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of Strategic Account Management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of surgical/OR sales experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in senior-level client relationship management.
  • Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to present at key/strategic account levels.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and development.
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic products, particularly IOLs.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure surgical environments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
