THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Account Manager will play a key role in supporting the Director ofSales in managing and expanding GreenShield’s specialty pharmacy network. Thisindividual will help strengthen relationships with physicians, clinics, andpatient support programs (PSPs) while driving revenue growth throughexceptional account management and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, and thrivesin a fast-paced healthcare environment where collaboration, patient focus, andattention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Relations:
  • Serve as theprimary point of contact for assigned physician and clinic accounts.
  • Support theDirector of Sales in developing and executing territory and accountstrategies.
  • Maintainstrong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and officestaff.
  • Conduct regularcheck-ins to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities forimprovement.
  • Manageonboarding of new clinics and assist with partnership documentation oragreements.
Sales Support & Growth:
  • Collaboratewith the Director of Sales to identify new business opportunities andcontribute to revenue growth strategies.
  • Track salesperformance, monitor trends, and support development of quarterly businessreviews.
  • Assist inpreparing proposals, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.
  • Supportimplementation of new programs or Patient Support Programs (PSP) partnerships.
Operational Coordination:
  • Liaise withinternal departments (Operations, Nursing, and PSP teams) toensure seamless execution of services.
  • Monitor accountactivity, including infusion scheduling, reimbursement workflows, andservice delivery timelines.
  • Troubleshootissues that arise with clients or PSP partners to ensure timelyresolution.
  • Maintainaccurate CRM records and ensure all account data is up to date.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Post-secondaryeducation in Business, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years ofexperience in account management, pharmaceutical sales, specialty pharmacyor healthcare operations.
  • Proven abilityto build and sustain client relationships at multiple organizationallevels.
  • Strongcommunication, empathy, adaptability, accountability, problem-solving, customer- centric, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive,professional, and collaborative attitude.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Exposure to CRM's, Power BI and Microsoft Excel (advanced).
  • Experience with Patient Support Programs (PSP) partnerships.
  • Negotiation and active listening skills.
