Public Administration Account Executive

The Account Executive will develop and maintain relationships with new customers to achieve strategic sales objectives within a specific region or territory. The role involves prospecting new clients for CentralSquare’s software solutions tailored for the government and public administration market.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline; foster a positive industry reputation
  • Use Solution Selling strategies to identify client needs and communicate effectively within the public sector
  • Travel to client sites, attend conferences, conduct discovery sessions, and demos
  • Document sales activities using CRM software, currently Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with Pricing Managers and Sales Directors on contracts and quotes
  • Conduct competitive research and stay informed on market products
  • Focus on acquiring new clients, cross-selling, and cloud migrations

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 2-5+ years’ experience in software sales and integration
  • Experience with high-volume sales, selling software solutions or similar technology
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
