Position Summary

The Pharmacist provides health education and care within their scope of practice for clients of Mount Carmel Clinic. As a member of a client‑centered interdisciplinary team, the Pharmacist provides care to individuals promoting wellness, prevention of disease and/or disability, and the management of chronic diseases/conditions. The incumbent works as an advocate on behalf of the client to ensure the appropriate links/referrals to other services that would enable the client to achieve their health goals. The Pharmacist holds ultimate responsibility for the actions of the Pharmacy.

Qualifications
Education
  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered and Licensed as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
Skills, Expertise and Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years direct service in a high-volume pharmacy with good knowledge of pharmacy software programs
