Job summary

A home care service provider is seeking compassionate caregivers in Eastern Ontario. You will assist clients, particularly those with dementia, by providing personal care and executing care plans. This role offers a flexible schedule with competitive hourly pay between $20.50 to $21.50, alongside a robust benefits package for those working 30+ hours a week. To qualify, you will need a PSW Certificate and some previous caregiving experience.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Dementia client needing redirecting and assistance for personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Able to service in the Cornwall area

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of PSW Certificate (or equivalent)
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
