Job summary
A leading software development company located in Brazil is looking for a Software Engineer (React.js) to develop and maintain scalable front-end applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with JavaScript and React.js and is proficient in building user-friendly applications. This role requires collaboration with backend engineers and participation in code reviews and architecture discussions. A background in Agile methodologies is preferred, along with knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end software development.
- 3-5+ years of experience with React.js and modern React ecosystem.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL integrations.

- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Education
- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js and related technologies.
- Implement reusable UI components and design systems that align with brand and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data models.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable JavaScript / TypeScript code.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive, cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions.
- Stay current with emerging front-end trends, frameworks, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end software development.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and the modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Sass).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL integrations.
- Version control experience using Git and CI / CD workflows.
- Experience with Next.js, Redux Toolkit, or other state management libraries.
- Understanding of front-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
- Experience working with design systems or component libraries (e.g., MUI, Chakra UI, shadcn / ui).
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or serverless architectures).
- Prior experience in an Agile / Scrum environment.
