The Transportation Operations Management team is seeking an experienced Expansion Program Manager to play a critical role within Amazon Transportation Operations in Brazil. This position will focus on continuously improving service levels, capacity, and cost efficiency across Amazon Brazil’s Transportation Line Haul network, ensuring we fulfill our promises to valued customers every single time.

Qualifications
  • Travel Requirement: Position requires up to 25% travel across Brazil network sites.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.
  • Experience in English‑language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role.
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
  • Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Lead TOM Network Expansion: Spearhead Transportation Operations Management expansion across the Brazil network, ensuring optimal resource allocation and seamless integration at new site launches.
  • Own Large‑Scale Project Delivery: Independently plan, analyze, and maintain complex, large‑scale projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Define Business Requirements & Targets: Collaborate with TOM Operations Managers to establish clear business requirements, performance targets, and success metrics.
  • Drive Process Innovation: Champion new initiatives to optimize yard operations and processes, consistently meeting and exceeding business requirements while improving operational efficiency.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership: Partner strategically with ATS program managers to secure resources, define project scope, establish priorities and milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure Accountability & Communication: Provide transparent status reporting, proactively seek support when needed, and elevate issues immediately to maintain project momentum.
