A forward-thinking AI company based in Santa Catarina, Brazil, is seeking a technical partner to set the direction for its innovative AI-powered mental health solutions. You will architect the product, lead the AI layers, and engage in direct impact around mental healthcare access. Ideal candidates should possess strong product thinking and experience with AI technologies, along with a passion for building culturally aligned solutions. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from 2000 to 3000 USD plus stock options.

Qualificações

• Experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, vector DBs.
• Prior startup or 0→1 experience preferred.
• Interest in mental health, cultural intelligence, or AI ethics is a plus.

About Bliss Mental health is broken for anyone who leaves home.

Therapists don't speak your language, don't understand your culture, and 94% of AI systems show 0 cultural awareness. We're fixing that.

Bliss is building the first culturally intelligent mental health AI, starting with AI-powered Digital Twins of real therapists, designed to bridge language, culture, and lived experience.

We've validated our model with strong retention, an active therapist pipeline, and partnerships starting to form across Europe and the US. Backed by Plug&Play and Founder of Slush & Angry Birds.

Now we're looking for a technical partner who wants to build mission-critical systems from the ground up, fast, thoughtfully, and with meaningful real-world impact.

About the Role

This isn't a "join a big team and inherit a roadmap" kind of role.

You will :

• Set the technical direction for Bliss
• Architect and build the next evolution of our product
• Lead the development of our AI layer :
  • Therapist Digital Twins
  • Recommendation engine + matching
  • AI companions rooted in cultural nuance
  • Data pipelines & embeddings for knowledge extraction
• Prototype ideas quickly to validate direction before committing to full builds
• Build lightweight versions first → scale what works
• Work directly with the founder to shape product strategy, not just execute it
• Take ownership for turning a validated concept into a scalable platform

You are the kind of person who prefers building to talking, loves figuring out unknowns, and likes being early when nothing exists yet.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• Strong product thinking : you care why we build, not just how
• Experience shipping AI-powered features (LLMs, agents, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, vector DBs, etc.)
• Ability to architect clean, scalable systems (even if we start scrappy)
• Comfortable leading technical decisions and working independently
• Excited about rapid prototyping and iteration

Nice-to-Have

• Bubble experience (or willingness to learn fast)
• Prior startup or 0→1 experience
• An eye for UX or at least empathy for how users behave
• Interest in mental health, cultural intelligence, or AI ethics
