Responsibilities and assignments
- 5+ years of experience in SAP's Financial Services – Collections and Disbursements (FSCD) / Financial Accounting (FI – AP/AR) configurations and processes
- 5+ years direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment
- Proven previous team leading experience
- Deep working knowledge of supporting business processes
- 2-3 years hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA
- Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
- Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation, and key functionality
- Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules
- Knowledge and configuration experience in SAP with the formulation of systems account structure
- Collections and Disbursements tools and techniques
- Handling cross-industry tasks linked to collections/disbursements
- Handling of premium and other insurance-related payments
- Processing incoming payments and related tasks
- Strong background in Broker Collections, Coinsurance, Management of Premiums and Claims
- Experience with lifecycle development of SAP customizations, enhancements, system requirements and functional specifications, testing and training material
- Ability to gather requirements from business users
- Ability to clearly write Functional Specification documents
- Quality Assurance including Testing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Team Leadership for a small team of support engineers
- Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP applications functionality and technology
- Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change, and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience
- Provide remote-based functional support & training for multiple SAP modules
- Support client customizations, sharing implementation and best practices advice
- Develop application break fixes for critical product defects
- Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues
- Manage one or more key assigned accounts as a technical/functional advisor
- Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity
- Be a pro-active contributor to a support organization which is running 24x7x365; be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitor email outside standard business hours
- Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different client situations
- Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes to improve the client experience

Requirements and qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- The best candidates will have extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules across SAP releases (4.x & ECC), including proficiency with SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules, and knowledge of underlying technology
- Experience with FSCD integration with (Financial Services – Policy Management - FS-PM; Financial Services – Claims Management - FS-CM) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of any Country Specific Solutions would be an advantage
- A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful
- Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage
- Language skills would be a welcome advantage
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
